Horror vacui (Latin for 'fear of empty space'), also referred to as kenophobia (from Greek for 'fear of the empty') is the filling of the entire surface of a space or an artwork with detail. Applying Aristotle's idea that "nature abhors an empty space." Boluddha explores how this concept relates to the chaotic and overstimulating urban spaces of Hong Kong. The noise, the color, the smells, the pace; each frame tries to capture the over-stimulating imprint the city leaves on you every minute.
