Hoechst AG
The Technical Administration Building of Hoechst AG, designed by Peter Behrens and completed in 1924, is a landmark of early modern industrial architecture, and perhaps the greatest example of what is called Brick Expressionism.. Located in Frankfurt, Germany, the building blends elements of Expressionism and New Objectivity, showcasing Behrens’ refined sense of proportion, material, and form. With its distinctive brickwork, elegant clock tower, and carefully composed façade, the structure exemplifies the merging of functionality and artistry during a transformative period in architectural history.
